The annual Medeira Flower Festival will be taking place in the Free State. One of the biggest flower parades in the Free State, it attracts thousands of people to the small town of Parys.
The four day programme will include a forum, a charity golf day a fun walk and more. The aim of the event is to promote domestic tourism, to address issues of seasonality, to stimulate flower farming and encouraging flower exporting.
