The easy thing, of course, is to wonder what might have been. Those who played for RPI’s hockey team last season are doing a lot of that as they practice social distancing at their homes around the country and beyond.
The Engineers find themselves thinking of where March might have taken them. Lake Placid? Albany? So many questions that will never have answers. That’s how the season ended for RPI when the coronavirus pandemic not only shut down the Engineers but the entire sports landscape across the United States.
