Champion horse Tiger Roll is neck and neck with the likes of Katie Taylor and Rory McIlroy in the race to be crowned the 2020 RTE Sports Personality of the Year.
The two-in-a-row Grand National winner is bidding for history in April, a win in this year’s showcase would make it the first ever horse to win three on the bounce.
And BoyleSports are backing the Gordon Elliot trained horse to win the race, as a 6/1 favourite, and gallop ahead in a march for the Sports Personality of the Year award – with prices slashed from 10/1 to 11/2.
However, the Gigginstown House Stud racehorse isn’t quite favourite in that particular race, Katie Taylor leads the way at 11/4 for the December award.
Any Irish Olympian at Tokyo 2020 and Rory McIlroy come just behind at 10/3 in a photo-finish, with Tiger Roll at 11/2.
Jockeys Rachel Blackmore and Oisin Murphy as well as trainer Joseph O’Brien are all outsiders at 16/1.
