The largest poker room in Europe can be found at King’s Resort Rozvadov, Czech Republic. Kings Resort is owned by poker-playing businessman Leon Tsoukernik. The casino resort has been operating since 2003, and over the years has attracted thousands of poker players from all over the globe by hosting huge festivals like the World Poker Tour, partypoker MILLIONS, and the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE).
Some of the world’s best and most prolific poker players have showcased their skills at King’s poker tables, earning seven-figure cashes. Here seven of the top-earning players at the European casino.
David Peters – Ranked 7
David Peters biggest win at King’s took place in the 2018 WSOPE when he finished runner-up in the €100,000 Super High Roller for €1.6 million (approximately $1.8 million), putting him at No. 7 in King’s all-time money list (interestingly, he is also currently seventh in Hendon Mob’s all-time money list with total live earnings of more than $33 million). The American poker pro is widely considered among the world’s best no-limit Texas Hold’em players.
Christoph Vogelsang – Ranked 6
Last year, Christoph Vogelsang had a great run at King’s scoring 3rd and 4th in two high roller events at the 2019 WSOPE, earning him over €1.7 million ($2 million). Apart from that, he also scored two additional cashes, bringing his total winnings at King’s to $2,968,253. He is better known in the live poker circuit for taking down the 2017 $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl at ARIA in Las Vegas for a whopping $6 million.
James Chen – Ranked 5
Taiwan’s very own James Chen is No.5 on the list, with $3,142,848 in total winnings at King’s. The biggest victory of his career took place at the European resort, after he won the 2019 WSOPE €250K Super High Roller. He topped a field of 30 entries and also took home his maiden WSOP gold bracelet.
Mikita Badziakouski – Ranked 4
Mikita Badziakouski’s results at King’s have been spectacular, winning at least five cashes, including two 4th-place finishes in the €25K High Roller and €100K Super High Roller during the 2018 WSOPE. He also finished third in the 2017 WSOPE High Roller for One Drop. So far, he has won $3,375,420 at King’s Resort Rozvadov.
Chin Wei Lim – Ranked 3
Chin Wei Lim currently holds the record as being the only player to win separate seven-figure cashes at King’s. The Malaysian poker pro did that in just a week during the 2019 WSOPE. He managed to earn his first seven-figure score when he finished runner-up to Chen in the €250K High Roller.
A few days later, he followed it up with a victory in the €100K Diamond High Roller, giving him a combined $4.35 million in cashes. Add to that his other winnings in numerous side events.
Martin Kabrhel – Ranked 2
This poker pro who hails from Czech Republic has scored more than 50 cashes at King’s amounting to a whopping $5,488,665. It was at the same venue that he was able to win five WSOP Circuit rings, as well as two WSOP bracelets.
Dominik Nitsche – Ranked 1
Dominik Nitsche currently sits at the top of King’s all-time money list with $5,660,975, just under $200K ahead of Kabrhel. The German poker pro took down the 2017 WSOPE €111,111 High Roller for One Drop, winning €3.4 million as top prize.
Apart from that, he has won five other cashes at the venue, including 5th-place finishes in the €100K Leon’s High Roller, WSOPE €100K Super High Roller, and the WSOPE €25,500 High Roller, all of which took place in October, 2018.
Among other players who have won big at King’s are Lithuanian poker pro Antanas Guoga, better known in the poker world as Tony G with $1,904,062 in total winnings, as well as England’s Jack Sinclair with eight cashes amounting to $1,883,262. Poker legend Phil Ivey also scored five cashes at King’s, giving him a combined $1.6 million in winnings.
